Hana Koko

 we were learning about hana koko and in this post we had to read a book about hana koko the maori santa which is called hana koko. 

I found it easy to read the text and understand what the book ment or what it was explaining.

I found it hard to make an outfit for hana koko  because I could not group my images.

Next time I will add something different like an accessory not just clothes.

slj xylophone.

We were learning about sound with Nano girl when we were learning about sound we created a xylophone I had to watch Nano girls video and then create my xylophone. I found it easy to learn the instructions and make a screencastify about my creation. I found it hard to make xylophone because I thought I did not have enough paper but then I found a way to have enough paper to make a xylophone. Next time I will make my xylophone bigger because I did not use a a4 sheet of paper.

Haiku poem

 we were learning about Haiku poems and how they have 5 syllables on the first sentence 7 syllables on next and the last sentence 5 syllables.

I found it easy to make up the sentences to the Haiku poem.

I found it hard to get the right amount of syllables to the Haiku poem.

Which one does not belong.

I was learning about which one does not belong. I had to answer each one and add what I thought does not belong I also had to make own which one does not belong my challenge to you is to write a comment and in that comment write what ones or what one does not belong. 

I found it easy to make my own which one does not belong also found it very fun. 

I found it hard to find even one answer in some slides but I did answer them all in the end. 

Next time I will make more than one of my own which one does not belong.

SLJ - Te Reo Maori - What are you doing today? Kick Start

I was learning about maori words. In the slide deck I had to learn what kei te aha koe i tenei meant in english then I had to write Kei te haere au ki te... then I had to choose what I was doing today out of some options and then at the end of my sentence I put kaukau which ment swimming. I found it easy to figure out what the sentence meant after all of the listening to the screencastify. I found it hard to understand what we had to do for today but I got there in the end. Next time I will try to learn more maori sentence that I dont know.

Optical illusion.

I was learning about optical illusions. I had to make a google drawing and create an optical illusion of my own when I was creating my optical illusion I put aircle on the top of the page and click ctrl-c then ctrl v to make circles till it reached the bottom of the page then I kept on doing that until the page was filled up. I found it hard to think what was I going to do to make an optical illusion. I found it easy to nearly make it look like 3d. Next time I will do it with pen and paper.

my insect

we were learning about how to make a insect from outside around your garden.This is my bug named ceery. I had to collect things like twigs and leafs from outside around our garden and then make it into an insect. When I was making my insect I made it with pointy leafs a big love heart shaped leaf and two little purple flowers. I found it easy to gather and find things that would look cool as an insect. I found it hard to take a photo of my insect because my camera wasent working so I had to take a photo through the google slide camera then download it into my downloads. Next time I will use twigs as the arms not just point leafs.

Why I think this comment is a quality comment.

I was learning about positive thoughtful and helpful commenting down below is why I think my comment is a quality comment. 

I found it hard to remember the instructions to this activity so I had to read it over and over again to remember the instructions to this activity.

I found it easy to find something positive thoughtful and helpful in this person's blog post

Nextime I will read the instructions to each activity over and over again till I know what I am doing instead of keep going to read those instructions throughout the activity.  

I think this comment is a quality comment because it includes something positive helpful and thoughtful and it does not just have I like this blogpost but I enjoyed this blog post.

 

 

The watermelons

I was learning about the art colouring book website online. There are lots of different pictures to color when you colour there are lots of different types of pain to to choose from there are eight that were used in the original drawing and eight that were not used in the original drawing. I found it easy to make the painting look really cool but successfully with the paint colors given in the bar down below. I found it hard to colour all of the white bits in because some of them were so small you could barely see them. Next time I will double check that I painted all the white bits in before I post it on my blog.

my dream birthday.

This slide was made when I was first learning how to use my blog I deleted it but then I wanted to keep it on my blog.I found it easy to think up some cool ideas of a dream birthday. I found it hard to use the box square thing because I had never used it before Next time I will learn more about how to use the template thing

I was learning how to make a gif in my other post with the same presentation as I have here I did a long reflection and it said next time I will make a gif out of this so I did I found it easy to make my gif move fast and slow.

I was learning about animating a picture/image on google slides, if you click on an image if that is the one you want to animate then there is a bar with has lots of options to choose from the on next to format option that says anamatie is one you click then you can do all sorts of thing like make you images spin.

I found it easy to learn and use the animate button and tool successfully.

I found it hard to put together my elf because I had to make sure the head looked like it was acutely on the elf suit and it was also hard to find good hands for the elf suit.

Next time I will make it into a gif. 

also remember to go to click the right hand button 9 times to see the anamate.

Christmas 2020

 I was learning about how to make a gif Mrs Williams taught me how to use talltweets. It is a website that makes gif out of thing like a presentation in google slides. I found it hard to get the photos right with my Friend Tiana so I had to do it with my other friend Isobel. I found it easy to make the last slide with the water fight.

We were learning about a kiwi Christmas 

I found it easy to think up ideas for each slide with my group that helped 

I found it hard to get all the punctuation and spelling correct

dog animation

I was learning about how to make an animation

 I found it in my drive and thought it would look cool on my blog. I also taught my little sister how to make an animation even though she was not that interested. 

I found it easy to get the hang of making the animation and teaching my sister how to make animation I found it hard to problem solve because some things went wrong.

mandala art online

We were learning about how to do mandala art with a compass. I found it easy to choose a good pattern to colour with. I found it hard to use the compass without making mistakes. Next time I will do a different pattern to colour with.

squirrel escape

We were learning about writing about moment in time we watched a video about a Squirrel escaping from a hungry Hawk and we chose one Animal to be one Animal I was a Squirrel.

I found it easy to fix my mistakes in my draft.

I found it hard to add lots of descriptive words.

Next time I will do lots more planing to help make more descriptive words.

my christmas anamation

we were learning about christmas and writing a letter to the Gisborne Herald about what christmas means to me. In our letter I wrote an acrostic poem and you will find my writing in the second slide of my animation. 

I found it hard to get the entire address right even though it was on the whiteboard for a while but luckily I got there in the end.

I found it easy to reach my goal of making eighty slides in my animation.

Next time I will reach one hundred slides in my animation.  

Shapes in Maori

We were learning about shapes in maori and colours in maori.

I found it easy to remember what a few of the maori names although it was tricky. 

I found it hard to remember all the names of the shapes in maori.

Next time I will try as hard as I possibly can to remember at least ten shapes in maori.

I found it easy to find a good quote and remember to but how made this quote. 

I found it hard to complete all the learning slides that our Teachers made.

Next time I will try harder to complete my work a little bit faster.

Acrostic poem Fireworks

 We were learning about Fireworks Acrostic poems and Guy Fawkes. Our Teachers Mrs Bava, Mrs Gomm, and Mrs Barker brought sparklers outside and we all watched them. The sound and look helped me to write a good Acrostic poem. 

I found it easy to write an Acrostic because the sparklers helped me alot to think up great words that fitted in my Acrostic poem.

I found it hard to find my Acrostic  poem in my Drive so I had to make a new one lucky I still had my draft so I could use the same words.

Next time I will remember to name my publishing so I can find it if it gets lost. 

Digital postcard.

 We were learning about what is fake and what is real online. I learnt that there can be lots of scams and to never share anything like your password. 

I found it easy to find a good background that worked and looked good with my pictures. I thought it was pretty cool making it look like I was on the moon eating an ice block. I also found it easy to make a postcard stamp.

I found it hard to find a picture which suited my space suit. I also found it hard to make my picture look realistic.

Next time I will be on mars eating popcorn. I will also try and make it look a little bit more realistic next time. 

Athletics day reflection.

 we were learning about skills and how to do sprints ball through high jump and long jump. I found it easy to use the right skill in ball through I did not make it to inter schools or come first second and third but I did have a good technique for ball through. I found it hard to remember to use the Dictionary not spell checker when I was writing about athletics . Next time I will remember to use the Dictionary, and try to work harder on athletics day with my high jump and sprints.

colours in maori

We were learning about what the colours are in maori at first the only colours I new about was ma-white I still dont know all the colours of by heart but hopefully you can learn. Hopefully I can reach my goal as to learn all the colours in maori. I found it easy to remember how to spell the maori words although I got a few wrong so I had to correct the spelling to the right spelling. I found it hard to find things that matched the colours on each slide because I tried to find something that matched each colour on each slide so it was not boring. next time I will make a screencastify saying how to say each colour in maori.

We were learning about what phishing is it is what is fake and what is real on the internet. when your on the internet and here is one thing you need to look out for when someone tries to sell you something when you are on one of those sites and you want to be safe if it starts with https it is real if not it is fake and dont do what they ask such as email password credit card number. I found it easy to find a background that looked like I was actually at a candy pool. I found it hard to find the right picture that was transpearant.Next time I will write a longer story .

 

my bikes in schools reflection.

 In bikes in schools we were learning about how to use or bike safely on our new school bike track we have had three different teachers come in to talk about how to check our bike is safe to ride on the rules of our bike track and safely on our bike track there's so many different sizes some are big some are small and some are big when were are checking our bike we have to do ABCDandQ. there are three parts to the bike track the main track the skills track and the pump track

I found it easy to ride my bike and remember that I can't pass people on corners because it is unsafe. i found it hard to tell whether my tire in my bike check was pumped up enough. Next time I will try to remember to bring my helmet because we were allowed to bring or own helmet but I kept forgetting. I really enjoyed riding the bikes around the bike track because the track that we were riding on was really smooth and easy to ride. I wonder when I will be able to ride on a different track then the main track.

Encouraging birds into our school

We were learning about birds today we had to make a google drawing about ideas to encourage birds into our school.

I found it easy to think about fun and creative ideas to create on my drawing.

I found it hard to polyline my pictures because it was our own ideas not the internets ideas.

 we were learning about Endemic Native Introduced birds. 

I found it easy to poliline NZ native birds.

I found it hard to research about native birds because I got mixed up with endemic birds and native birds.

Next time I will research before I think I know what native means.

I found it easy to make the slides and find the chromebook.

I found it hard to think up qustions.

this game teaches you abut kawa of care there are two qustions on each slide one of them is wrong or right evry time you get a qustion wrong it tackes you back to the previos. Chose carfully and good luck.

Our cool advenchers in team Toroa

 This term we were off on all sorts of cool adventures with our awesome teachers Mrs Barker, Mrs Bava and Mrs Gomm. We went to wild lab watched the movie holes and read holes did water work with Amy angels work with my base class teacher we did lots of fun stuff this term.

I found it easy to remember what all my angels names were with my base class teacher and find mayflies with our water teacher amy.

I found it hard to remember what the phs were from every waterway we visited.

next time I will add a few more slides to my poster so I can explain what we did on each fun adventures with our cool teachers.

Rangi and papa

We were learning about rangi and papa there are two books one is called rangi and papa and the other book is called in the beginning the books are slightly different.

I found it easy to memorize what the books were like and I made the books one story instead of making two slides.

I found it hard to find a picture of rangi and papa being pushed away from each other.

next time I will maybe make an animation about rangi and papa.

 We were learning about whether the environment is our responsibility and were also learning about persuasive writing I had to research planning and then write my draft writing.

 I found it easy to write my draft because I had also done lots of work around this subject. 

I found it hard to find some good sites to find evidence because I was not being specific about what I was asking the internet.

Next time I will try to be more specific about what I ask the internet and will also try to add a little bit more of evidence to my piece of persuasive writing.

Keep nz beautiful

 I was learning about is the environment our responsibility? I made this because it was keep nz beautiful day I really like making animations at home this animation is about keeping nz clean and not pouring any unnatural products down the drain tollit or any water ways because they all end up in the sea and it is very unhealthy for the sea water our writing is also about the environment is our responsibility maybe Next time I could make the animation last a little bit longer.

my podcast

we were learning about each other by making podcast we had to be confident when we were speaking we were using screencastify for recording ourselves I really enjoyed it because we were learning about each other and what we like to do in our own time I found it hard to use a confident voice when I was speaking because I knew lots of people were going to watch my podcast.Next time I will use a louder/confident voice when I am recording my podcast. 

Book Review

 We were learning about inferring my teacher Mrs baker used an example to explain what inferring ment I did not understand straight away but once we read our book there were a few sentences that we had to we had to use our new stragejedy once we had done that a few times I got the hang of inferring.I found it easy to read most of the words.I really liked the book awarua the taniwha of porirua  because it had great illustration and there were some words that were challenging and I quite liked the challenge next time I will try to get through my reading sentences quicker.maybe I could also try to make my sentences in my book review longer.
