my insect
we were learning about how to make a insect from outside around your garden. This is my bug named ceery. I had to collect things like twigs and leafs from outside around our garden and then make it into an insect. When I was making my insect I made it with pointy leafs a big love heart shaped leaf and two little purple flowers.
I found it easy to gather and find things that would look cool as an insect.
I found it hard to take a photo of my insect because my camera wasent working so I had to take a photo through the google slide camera then download it into my downloads.
Next time I will use twigs as the arms not just point leafs.

Kia Ora Tilly,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.
I thought the activity was very exciting as I love seeing everyone's creative and unique insect designs! I like that you explained the activity, introduced Ceery and explained your process of collecting materials and creating Ceery. I thought your slide was very well done and that Ceery the insect looks great and realistic. I especially liked the love heart detail and the big happy grin.
I would like to know what insect Ceery is and why you selected that name?
Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
Ngā mihi nui,

Kia ora Tilly,
ReplyDeleteI am a facilitator working in Tairāwhiti classes just like Mrs Williams. I really like the way Ceery moves into your slides a bit like an insect appearing on a leaf. Nice touch! Did you know insects all have six legs?
