we were learning about uv rays and so we had to make a uv ray indicator.
I found it easy to understand the whether from the whether chart that we used to see the days uv times.
I found it hard to understand what uv rays were.
next time I will make my chart bigger with more days or uv rays.
Kia ora Tilly,
ReplyDeleteFiona here from the Summer Learning Journey. It's so great to see all your fantastic blogging over the summer!
Great work completing the UV indicator activity. I really like how detailed your UV indicator is and how it breaks down the UV levels per hour. This really highlights how much sun protection we need in the middle of the day! Is it really hot at the moment where you are? I am in Auckland and the UV levels have been so high here!
Did you see the Step it Up part of this activity, where you get to make a wearable UV device? This could be a bracelet, sunglasses, watch, or anything you can think of. I think you would really enjoy it! You will earn extra SLJ points too!
Keep up the awesome mahi.
Mā te wā,
Fiona (SLJ).
