I found it easy to think of the fruit and vegetables to use in the person I was making.
I found it hard to think of which fruits or vegetables to use as the hands and arms.
Next time I will use real life fruits on my kitchen bench and take a photo of it and post it on my blog.

ReplyDeleteIt’s Renee from the Summer Learning Journey Team, here again. Your fruit and vegetable person looks incredible, Tilly. The watermelon smile is making me smile as your creation looks so happy. Are those mini bunches of grapes that you have used for your creation’s arms? They are very cute!
Ka pai for thinking outside of the box and creating this picture digitally - as an added bonus this will mean that no fruit or veggies will risk getting damaged in the creative process!
What are your favourite fruits and veggies? Mine are mangos and broccoli (but to be honest I like most fruits and veggies so it was hard to choose just one of each).
In order to complete this activity, along with your awesome fruit art creation you were asked to share three interesting facts about the artist Arcimboldo who inspired this work. It would be fantastic if you could update this post to include those three facts - I can’t wait to see it!
Mā te wā and keep up the excellent mahi - I’m looking forward to seeing your other posts over the summer.
