The undersea attack!

 We were learning about personification we had to add it into our writing and we are learning about different kinds of writing. I found it easy to write in creative writing. I found it hard to add personification as well as using creative writing. Next time I will add more descriptive words.   

My lazy Saturday

 I was learning about different types of writing this time I was writing creative writing I was writing about a mystery and added a few creative things. I found it easy to add unshall or unreal things to my writing. I found it hard to add really decrypted words to my writing. Next time I will make my writing five paragraphs long.

Today we were writing about the great awapuni fun run. I found it hard to use personification when I was editing and re visiting my writing. I found it easy to write about one part of the fun run not the whole day. next time I will ad personification.

This is my paralympic mascot this caterpillar is a boy his name is diego he likes to eat rainbow foods his job is to fill the paralympic competitors and audience with great spirit and hope he encourages all competitors to set goals for themselves however his goal is to fill up everybody with great spirit and at the end of the paralympic games if he achieves his goal he earns a pair of golden wings.

   

 

Reading Groups Activities the olympics Term 3

 This week we were learning about the olympics. The story that we were reading about is called born to run it was about how Arthur lydiard believe anyone could be a great runner Arthur lydiard wasent afraid to do things differently. We were learning about the olympics the story that we were reading was called born to run. I found it easy to do the word wall activity, you are supposed to write down words that are related to training and running. I found it hard to do the activity how does it affect your lungs? In that activity your have write down how running affects your lungs. I found it hard because I not a runner and I have not experienced how it affects your lungs.

Today in lockdown I made an ice cream sundae pop art. Pop art is when you pollyline a picture and you fill them in with bright colours to make it pop. I found it easy to pollyline the glass of the sundae It was easy because it had no small details and it was big with not that manny curves. I found it hard to think of a picture to pollyline that I could turn into my po art. Next time I will do some designs to the glass because I think it looks a little boring just as a cup and no cool designs.

Tokyo olympics acrostic poems

 Today we were learning about the olympics and we were making a acrostic poem about what we know and the stuff we were learning about through our olympic study. I was finding it hard to think of word that relate to the olympics and started whith (y). I was finding that doing other letters like (s) was easy. Next time I think that I could do better by wring more words one each sentence.

This week we were making a world map of the cities and countries that hosted the summer olympics we found that lots of cities hosted the olympics. I had to research the city and countries that hosted the olympics and pinpoint it on the map. I found that finding the countries and cities on the world map was very hard. I found that researching the cities that hosted the olympics was easy. Next time I think that I will also pinpoint the cities that are doing it in future years. Animation 100m sprints

Today I was learning about the olympics and NZ's first olympians the book that we were reading was called our 'our first olympians' and it explained the long journey that they took to Antwerp. Did you now that they travelled by boat and it took nine weeks and five days. I enjoyed reading about the 1920s olympians. Today it found it hard to make my animation long so I had to add some funny parts to make it longer. Next time to make my animation  longer I could add in another face or make a final.

Value Medals

Today I was making a slide about the Olympics and  learning about the olympic values, the names of the values are Excellence, friendship and respect. Respect means using your manners and treating people the way you want to be treated, excellence means absolutely doing your best and accepting where you come or how good you are, friendship means getting through times together and keeping a relationship. I was also learning about this in class for about two weeks, in that time I have also made a rap and learnt about the meaning of each value. It kind of hard to to pick what sports to do on each medal because. I had to polyline each picture some of them were really hard. I loved picking out the background and pictures for the medal that was really fun. Next time I would like to improve my medals and make a medal for each sport I will do it on google slides to make it easier. What don you like about my post?

Is it important to be prepared in a Natural Disaster.

 We were learning about Natural Disasters so we were using the form of persuasive writing to state our reasoning and evidence of whether we should be prepared for a natural disaster.

I found it easy to finish my writing in the amount of time we were given.

I found it hard to use evidence to support my idea in my writing.   

Next time I will try extra hard to use evidence to support my reason in my writing.

Follow Up activity.

We were learning about The oil spill in the Tauranga astrolabe reef and the importance of being kind to our environment.

 I found it easy to polyline my pictures in my only rain down the drain poster.  

 I found it hard to answer all of my follow up questions in full sentences.

 Next time I will polyline more pictures to my poster.

Book Review

 We were learning about natural disasters we have learnt about tsunamis and earthquakes and are going to learn about volcano too.

I found it easy to explain what was interesting about this book.

I found it hard to write every sentence in descriptive words. 

Next time I will work on writing more information about the beneficial that are in this sad book.

The Eruption Follow up Activities

We were learning about Natural disasters in class so we were doing earthquakes for reading.

I found it hard to make a animation in the time we were given in class.

I found it easy to answer my reading slides in full sentences.

Next time I will read the book another time to understand the meaning a little bit better.

 We were learning about earthquakes and this week in our class our reading slides were about painting the town in christchurch there was a big earthquake and street artists painted all over town to make people happier.

I found it easy pick out parts from the book and turn it into a book review.

 I found hard to answer that amount of questions that there was in the book review.

Next time I will write more on the my opinion bight of the review.

I found it easy to create something that describe my personality and my hobbies.

I found it hard to polyline everything into my own images instead of using the internet images.

Next time I will add a little less images of my own because it looks a bit full for a logo about myself.

 

Camp kaitawa kayaking!

We were learning about writing a recount my recount was about camp kaitawa and kayaking.

I found it easy to describe my time kayaking at camp kaitawa.

I found a hard to do my editing Because I had a lot of spelling mistakes that I could not identify.

Next time I will make each paragraph about a different thing but still about kayaking Instead of carrying on the same part of kayaking in another paragraph.

Camp Kaitawa - follow up

 We were learning about how to use copritove skills at camp. I enjoyed reflecting on camp kaitawa.

I found it easy to finish my camp bocklet on time ( the camp boclet was a reflection about camp and things we ate and did each day)

I found it hard to create a animation that described my favorite part because I could not find a person to fit in my kayak on my ananmation.

Next time I will make my camp bocklet more colorful and bright with no spelling mistakes.

we were learning about paoa and kiwa who travelled to new zeland on a waka (boat) this is my favorite part if the story that we read about them.

I found it challenging to make a animation that only described one part of the book.

I found it easy to make my animation whith no images from google.

Next time I will make my animation longer and maybe describe more of the story.
